“Very nice program. This download being a full featured “professional” program bumps my old program off of the hard drive. I like being able to save the fruits of my labor to the hard drive. ..I really like this program.”
- Jack Boyce

“… this is a marvelous and functional tool. The ability to go full screen on FLV beats out many of the other versions of software that allow viewing of these files.
Thumbs UP”
- rc

“This program is mainly aimed at playing flash movies (.swf) and flash videos (.flv). It does the first well – the swf file I tested played well – it even features a scrub bar to navigate the video, and a play/pause button. It handles it well, and it makes it a cinch to spot easter eggs in flash cartoons.”
- BrettJay

“Being a fan of .swf animation look and feel, i have installed this and enjoy the program, Nice to finally have a Pro Player for these, I was burning them to CD and Playing on my Home DVD Player but still did not have the varied Pro controls for them, Kudos!”
- StanP.

“Hello All, I had been using a freebie FLV player but this one blows the socks off the one I had. Nice controls and the options are excellent, the playlist is really nice as I have several split files so I can load the playlist with the split files and play them in order 1 2 3 without doing a thing.”
- Baker Bob

“I love this flv player, couple with my favorite flv converter, I can deal with all popular video formats, that’s really cool.”
- drcshine

“… the Pro version feature set is VERY attractive, especially that it grabs all associated on-line resources and its ability to capture screen shots (saves me having to tinker with a separate application!).
Thanks to GAOTD and Eltima Software!”
- David

“On my MAC I use Mac swf player pro from Elima Software – really nice player. AND I’m glad to have the opportunity to install PRO version for free on my PC :) special thanks to ELTIMA”
- backner

“Great little program. Installed and works with no problems
I like the swf frame-by-frame feature”
- Mel

“what a great prog this is – it handshakes so well with the earlier Giveaway from Eltima i.e. Flash Decompiler. … well, folks, what more can we ask for? Thanks to GOTD and Eltima.”
- Noddy

“Thanks. Performs much better than VLC when dealing with FLV files. I agree VLC is the best in over all performance, but for flash vids this is the best.”
- BGM

Thanks to all guys mentioned and not mentioned here! Pity, there were people who experienced some bugs, but thanks to their comments we will spend more time on the following issues in the nearest releases.

“Nice player, but i am missing a mute-button for audio. For a future release, i wish an option to not only export picture-series. Converting to AVI (like DivX) should round up this great player.”
- Micha

Special thanks to Darren!
His comment brought out some flaws …

“Started out good, but there’s still work to be done with this software before it’s commercially viable. On the plus side, the look and feel of the software is very good. The playlist, once full, is handy, as are the shortcut keys for moving around the list.
The negatives though, and this after playing around with it for an hour or so:
1. The download online movies function doesn’t work. I tried it on YouTube, Dailymotion, and a few other sites. This feature is probably the biggest difference between this version and the free version, and it’s a bust.
2. The window resizes back to the default (small size) every time you play a different video. This is really irritating, as you can’t set up a size that best suits your monitor, you need to constantly resize the window.
3. Screen dimensions are not saved on close – this applies to the playlist as well as the main window, again really irritating when you have a long playlist you want to see.
4. Moving forwards and backwards in a video is choppy at best. This needs refining.
5. When you have a reasonably full playlist (50-100 short videos), it takes the program a VERY long time to open. I don’t know what it’s doing, but the lag time is a serious problem.
In short – this is still beta software. I don’t have a problem with that, and the price tag is low enough that if the issues were all fixed I would consider buying it, but the issues I’ve outlined are all deal breakers for me.”
- Darren

Be sure, Eltima specialists will fix them shortly after!
