How To: View And Globally Search For Flash ActionScripts
Flash Decompiler by Eltima is an extremely helpful tool for both Flash professionals and beginners. This time I’ll give you some tips about another helpful feature - global ActionScripts search.
If you need to find something within ActionScripts you can do as follows …
1. Launch your Flash Decompiler, add SWF file(s) to “My tasks” and choose “Search” tab. Trillix will automatically highlight “Scripts” in the list of SWF resources. Now determine “Logics” options in a pull-down menu (exact match, all words or any word). You can also customize your search by ticking checkboxes within “Search options” (ignore case, search for whole words only and search only in current SWF).
2. Now press “Search now” button. As you can see, a new “Search results” window has appeared. It contains data based on search options you’ve determined before. It also shows which SWF resource(s) uses the Script which contains the data you were searching for. Within the upper window you can change ActionScripts view to common presentation
, Pi-code actions
, hex dump
or a split mode including Pi-codes and hex dumps
- choose the one which fits your needs the most.
Download Flash Decompiler Trillix or you can buy this tool right now!
