SyncMate Continues the Commotion it Started

SyncMate became a fair-headed boy amongst Maс users. Not that it is completely flawless, but SyncMate is on the way to synchronization nonpareil.

Just look at all the buzz SyncMate created at MacUpdate Promo recently:

Luis Larrea“I’ve been using the demo for a few weeks and its the only sync app I’ve found to actually work, and like a mac app, and it installed and talked to the windows mobile 5 O2XDAII with no probs, before I realized it had established a link. Makes ActiveSync look daft - not hard! MissingSync and PocketPC keep loosing connection.”

Jessica Lewis“I’ve been using the free edition for about a week with my T-Mobile MDA Touch and have been impressed at how straightforward it was to use. Compared to ActiveSync over Bluetooth to a Windows PC, the WiFi option is like a dream. I was planning to buy the Expert Edition at full price for the extra features, so I’m not going to pass up this offer.”

Gunnar Martz

“There are some great little options that make it different than ‘The Missing Sync’ (which it is very close to, but suffers from being a catch-all program for all handheld devices, ported here and there). The ability to manage text messages, SMS, etc., from the mac is a neat addition to SyncMate. Stickies, iPhoto, etc….all neat integration. Worth a competitive try!”
-gorelets

“Wow! This one definitely looks very useful!”
-izdale

“Interesting alternative to Palm’s Hotsync.”
-gryphonent

“awesome!”
-seminarian

“The free versions is working fine on 10.5 with my HTC P3600 (Trinity), running WM6. First piece of software that does the trick; I’m impressed. Configured WiFi sync: a breeze! No need to start VMware to sync my PDA, great!!”

    A question about SyncMate.
SyncMate is a great product. The only feature I need (and it is not offered) is the ability to sync multiple iCal Calendars.
I'm using different calendars for different type of jobs/projects.
This feature can be very very useful.
    Thanks

A new SyncMate build, which we will make public today, will have the ability to sync multiple iCal Calendars. Please, update your SyncMate to the latest build.

    Thanks! That's a great news!

Sorry, another questions on future features.... Is there also a plan for "task" sync (tasks on iCal -> tasks on Windows Mobile)?
I'm using GTD tools, and this could also be useful.
    Many thanks

Yes, we are planning to introduce such a feature in of the future SyncMate releases. Unfortunately, we don't know now when it's going to happen. But we're on the way! :)
P.S. New SyncMate build is already available for downloading!
