@Loni -

Please make sure that Mac firewall doesn't block the connection and PDA firewall doesn't blocks driver installation. So look through PDA and your Mac settings.
System Preferences -> Security/Sharing (Internet and Network)-> Firewall -> Allow All Incoming Connections. Check whether the option "advanced network functionality" is enabled (Start->Settings->Connections->USB to PC).
If the problem persists, please contact our support team at support@eltima.com

I have a tmobile dash as well running windows mobile 6. My mac mini does not recognize the dash when it is connected. I used the Missing Sync before without any problems. Is there something that I am missing? I have followed the connections instructions and missing sync has been totally uninstalled from my system all with no luck of connecting with Syncmate.

Thanks.

Hi htctouchuser -

I've been using SyncMate for almost 2 months and have no connection issues. Suggest if you have used any other product to sync, go through your program files carefully and be sure to remove all traces of the previous programs. Leftover files from PocketMac prevent SyncMate from being able to load the driver.

Vic -
any new information about the folder syncing troubles? I'm looking forward to testing a new build with my HTC Touch (Sprint VOGUE)

thanks!

Hi Vic

Any news on when the build with the Motorola fixes will be available? My Mototola Q Phone (WinMob5) cannot connect at all via USB.

I'd really love to buy your product.

Thanks!

@htctouchuser -
In order to be able to set the connection between your Mac and your device, please go to Programs – ActiveSync; in ActiveSync menu choose Connections and check "Synchronize all PC" and choose USB from the list.
Then, in order to make SyncMate function, please go to Settings – Connections – USB to PC and check "Enable advanced network functionality".
All of this is described in FAQ section of SyncMate's user manual. Please, refer to "Establish connection" section of user manual to make sure you do everything correctly.

This doesn't work for the HTC Touch (sprint) here is why

ActiveSync won't allow it

initial usb connection in order to INSTALL the windows mobile driver cannot happen because this software doesn't work-- it does not allow a connection between the mac and the htc touch for sprint.

the developer should remove htc touch from the list of "supported devices"

there is no way for this software to work. bottom line

I'm having trouble with syncmate duplicating all my ical entries. I have the sync direction set both ways and have selected to be asked to resolve conflicts but it never identifies conflicts or asks to resolve them. It is driving me crazy having to delete 12 months of duplicate appointments each time it syncs.
Any suggestions?

@ Isaiah Henni -
You have to check the state of your firewall, so it would allow the connection. If you were able to connect before, please, delete the old driver from the device.

@Panayiotis -
You have to launch ActiveSync on your device, go to Menu – connections and check the option “when cradled”. If this option is unchecked, you will not be able to install the driver.

Hello,
I'm trying to run Syncmate on my Macbook 1.83ghz Dual Core to connect to my xv6800, but I cannot get past the "Connecting..." screen. The macbook notices the phone and starts up Syncmate, but I do not receive a prompt on the xv6800 to install the driver as the manual states. Any ideas?
Thanks

I have a MacBook Pro 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo and my Motorola Q9m will not connect to the computer via the usb cable, because of its windows mobile 6 software, even though the demo said it can connect to those kinds of phones. The phone also can not be connect via WiFi as far as I know. So far I have not been able to connect my phone to SyncMate and its really giving me a headache. I would like to buy this program if I can get it to work. Is there any other way I can connect it, or is there something I am doing wrong?

Thanks
