tumblrIt’s time to tell you about next version of our all-in-one sync solution – SyncMate 5.

Next version is going to be a great step forward to intuitive design. In a few clicks you will be able to sync wide variety of data all over your devices. It will be provided with full OS X Mavericks support of well-known features with completely new design and improved usability. Contacts, Calendars, Safari bookmarks, Notes, and Files will be synced with your new OS in a click.

We are also adding Background Auto Synchronization to make SyncMate even more convenient for everyday use. You won’t have to open SyncMate app again and again, and all your data will be kept up-to-date with no additional effort.

SyncMate 4 and OS X Mavericks

As you all know, Apple released a stunning new OS X Mavericks (10.9) with lots of improvements and new features and it is free for everyone. Numerous changes in new OS X brought some changes to other software though.
Sync Service that SyncMate 4 used for information exchange got disabled in 10.9. This means Calendars, Contacts, Reminders and Bookmarks aren’t syncing with the current version of SyncMate on Mavericks. Replacing of the Sync Service turned out to be a challenging task, and our development team is working hard to solve it, designing our proprietary sync technology that will make SyncMate independent from system changes in future. We put in all effort to bring you the new SyncMate as soon as possible.

But we have some good news for you!

We are extending grace period from 22nd September, month before Mavericks release, and till SyncMate 5 official release. So everyone who purchased SyncMate 4 during this time is getting SyncMate 5 for absolutely FREE.

And one more thing!

You can also get beta version as soon as it is available.
Just fill up subscribe form, and be among the first to get absolutely renewed SyncMate 5 beta.

In addition to the usual WiFi Sync between devices as in SyncMate 4, will the new SyncMate 5 offer the alternative to sync devices via USB?

  • http://www.eltima.com Alex Taylor

    Hi John!
Most of the devices can be synced over USB even in SyncMate 4, for any questions, please ask: support@eltima.com

I was devastated by the sneaky removal of local sync by Apple, so I am thrilled to hear you guys are going to help to maintain privacy and independance of the Internet and iCloud. One question: I could not work without syncing, so I had to give in and use iCloud because of this highly questionable change by Apple. The sooner I can get out of iCloud the better. Will I be able to get my data back into my personal realm and abandon iCloud without data loss, or will I have to start over again with clean slates as to calendars and contacts?

hi, will syncmate 5 be available only as paid version or is there a free version (like 4 with limitations) as well?

  • http://www.eltima.com Alex Taylor

    Hello Thom!

Thank you for developing Syncmate 5. Cannot wait. I am so upset with Apple that they removed sync services and took local control away from us. I really appreciate you working to fix that problem!

  • http://www.eltima.com Alex Taylor

Hi Bruce! Thank you very much for your kind words!

  • thom

ok, after nearly half a year without fixing the mavericks sync problems i’ll get another software. or i’ll do syncing with an own web/cal dav solution, even faster than waiting for (beta)release SM5.

this really is lame – even if the problem is tricky :(

    Hi Thom,
Sorry it took so long. Please, get your copy of SyncMate 5 beta here: http://www.sync-mac.com/subscribe_syncmate5.html

shortly after my nagging i got the beta-relaesa notification. some calenders not marked for syncing got synced too, but overall it seems to work properly!

  • Jon

I have submitted a couple of requests of for the beta edition of synchmate 5 on the official form. Our medical group has switched to Outlook for calendaring but I am a solid mac person. I also had SyncMate 4 pro but have been running Mavericks since last fall. I would appreciate a beta code as soon as you can send it. It looks like Customer Support if pretty responsive so hopefully I can get the code soon?

    Thank you!
