Flash Decompiler by Eltima Software is a feature rich and powerful SWF to FLA converter, which will help you decompile Flash movies, convert SWF elements into multiple formats and edit SWF movies on the go without Flash Studio installed.

And since 4.0 version Flash Decompiler supports Flex files into Flex projects decompilation.

This tutorial contains a detailed step-by-step description of Flex files to Flex projects conversion. But let us remind you some details about Flex files.

Flex files are created by Adobe Flex Builder. Flex files can be converted in Flex projects only and you’ll have to have Adobe Flex Builder installed in order to edit such projects. When converting Flex files into Flex projects with Flash Decompiler, Flash Decompiler will create a Flex Builder project which can be easily edited with Adobe Flex Builder.

So, if you have some Flex files you are about to convert in Flex projects, following tutorial will definitely help you!

Step 1. Please download the latest Flash Decompiler Trillix build and install it.

Step 2. After launching Eltima Flash Decompiler please switch to “Manage” tab. Press “Add task” and choose the Flex file you are about to convert.

For your convenience, while working with a file, you can see whether it is a Flash or Flex file (since 4.0 version Flash Decompiler supports Flex files into Flex projects decompilation). There will be corresponding icons to the left of the file name in “My tasks” list.

Step 3. After you added the required Flex file/files to be converted, please, switch to “Convert tab”, which is located at ribbon bar.

Step 4. Select the destination folder where the resulting Flex projects will be stored.

Step 5. If you want to start converting chosen Flex file to Flex projects with default settings, press “Convert current” button (“Convert all” button in case you’ve selected batch of Flash files).

Attention all Powered Keylogger users! In this series of articles we will reveal keylogger’s ordinary at the first glance, but extremely useful features.

Whether you’ve been using Powered Keylogger for a couple of days, or already a fan of this keylogging software for a couple of years - it doesn’t matter. We all know that Powered Keylogger was developed to provide you with maximum information about what other people do on your computer when you are away. Obtaining information, you obtain control!

Well, as far as Powered Keylogger is such a massive and multi-functional tool with lots of features, it seems complicated to puzzle out how to filter all those logs that are being saved all days. Sitting and just looking through all of them will take loads of time and get you lost in all that amount of information.

When you need to search for something special inside all those logs, something specific that has been typed in particular applications or definite applications that have been launched - there is nothing easier than to filter the logs and find exactly what you need!

All you have to do is to choose the kind of logs you want to filter. In this case we are filtering keystrokes, as you can see in the tab, which says “Logs - Keystrokes”.

To change the type of logs you want to filter, just select this tab and the whole list of logs will appear. To view if there were logs on this date you want to filter - go to the “Calendar” tab. The days having logs will be shown in bold in the calendar.

So, we are filtering keystroke log. We select the monitored user in the “user name” drop-down window. In “application name” tab we select the application in which the keystrokes we are looking for were typed. In “window caption” tab we choose in what active window those keystrokes were typed.

After you have chosen all the parameters by which you want to filter the log, press “Filter logs now” arrow. This will get the process started.

After filtering you will see the result: in what application and in what window exactly the monitored user was typing. And what exactly they he or she was typing.

All of the logs can be filtered in this way. Just select the type of logs you want to filter, a user, application name and window caption! In a few seconds you will obtain the precise information you wanted. And no need to dig through masses of logs Powered Keylogger saves in its folders.

Information is the key point. Be aware of what is happening with your computer when you are away. Download Powered Keylogger and see what it can do for you.

Now, thanks to recommendations of Scott Robbins we all know how to download Google video as FLV, AVI or MP4. The same for Youtube, alike recommendations have been given for all SWF Movie Player for Mac users (http://www.eltima.com/ccc/faq.php?do=article&articleid=112). But how to make those videos run on any computer, regardless of OS used, applications installed and level of PC knowledge of any given user. How to share all those terrific movies with all your friends and not experience problems with FLV playback and make it easy to watch?

As all files downloaded from Google or YouTube appear to be in FLV format, and though it doesn’t state to be a problem - not all good people have FLV players. To avoid dealing with FLV files, just convert it into AVI. And make it with Eltima FLV to AVI Converter

SWF Toolbox fits as a fiddle for everyone who works with FLV and video formats. The software easily converts FLV to AVI and makes it within seconds! Just launch SWF Toolbox (if you still don’t have this software, go to SWF Toolbox homepage and download it), in built-in explorer find FLV file you want to convert to AVI, double click it and it will appear in Tasks List. You can also drag and drop the files chosen for conversion there directly.

Select “Video” tab, choose any codec among others (generally DivX fits most of the needs), adjust audio options and press “Add Action” button. By doing this you will set the task for the FLV file you have chosen for conversion. Select this file in the tasks list and press “Process all tasks” button. In a few moments you will obtain the regular .avi movie that plays without any problems on any computer. Moreover, you can select several FLV files simultaneously, add tasks to all of them and go for a coffee while the conversion is in process. In the output you will obtain several AVI movies out of your FLV ones.

If you are interested in SWF Toolbox, you can download SWF Toolbox Demo from Eltima Software corporate website and you will have 14 days to testdrive it yourself!

Demo version is available here

Installation process is simple and takes a few seconds. Launch SWF Toolbox, configure the built-in explorer view to fit your needs and start converting!

With SWF Toolbox you can also manipulate lots of different formats and convert SWF into AVI, JPG/GIF/BMP image series, animated GIF, Projector, Advanced Projector, make sreensavers out of your favorite SWF, unprotect SWFs and even add ZLib compression to your movie.

Make the conversion process easy and quick with SWF Toolbox, and forget about incompatibility of formats.
