Australian Macworld gives SyncMate 4.5 mice rating!

Posted by Alex Taylor on October 9th, 2009

“Our Experience of SyncMate Free is that it’s a reliable application that does what is designed to do with a minimum of fuss.”

I can say for sure, that to be reviewed in Macworld (or any other well-known and authoritative magazine) is a great honor for any software company. We are not an exception and we are extremely proud to share SyncMate review posted recently in Australian Macworld with you.

Syncmate in Macworld

The author, Anthony Caruana, says: “we ran the installer with no problems. … One feature that stood out was the ability to natively synchronize with Google’s online address book and calendar services. SyncMate Free promises much of what The Missing Sync offers but at no cost”.

“Device support is broad” , says Anthony, “for users that need more than iCal and Address Book syncing, the Expert version adds a stack of extra options including iPhoto, iTunes, Notes, Call History, Mail and several other options”.

More than that, SyncMate was named “easy to use and reliable” and, as I said before, got 4.5 mice!

” The paid upgrade to the Expert version looks to be good value and offers all the sync options we can think of.”

If you’re an editor of any software related magazine or running software related website, you’re more than welcome to review our products. Just contact me for getting review copies of our software. And thanks Anthony Caruana for testing our software and good words about SyncMate! :)

SyncMate 2.0

At the very beginning of this week we are happy to bring some positive news about SyncMate to you :)

New SyncMate 2.4 lets you synchronize your Mac with Windows PC, Sony PlayStation® Portable (PSP) and USB flash drives, as well as with other supported devices (Windows Mobile devices, Nokia phones, other Macs, online storage and Google account).

With SyncMate 2.4 your Contacts, Calendars, ToDo’s, Entourage and Mail notes, Stickies and Folders in Windows PC will be flawlessly synchronized with your Mac! (Learn how you can sync your Mac to Windows PC with SyncMate).

Synchronization with PSP lets you transfer and update Address Book contacts, iTunes and iPhoto in your handheld game console in accordance with your Mac.

SyncMate 2.4 allows syncing music, images and even separate folders between your Mac and USB flash drives. And of course you can backup your USB drive data to your Mac.

As you can see, we’ve expanded the list of supported devices greatly and now SyncMate can sync your Mac with almost every device you might have. Mobile phones, other computers (Mac or PC), online accounts, handheld game systems, USB drives – SyncMate will sync them all perfectly and can do that all at once!

SyncMate 1.4 Giveaway at UsingMac

Posted by Alex Taylor on June 11th, 2009

We were giving away five SyncMate Expert 1.4 licenses at UsingMac.com recently. The rules were extremely simple: all those, who wanted to get SyncMate Expert 1.4 for free had to post a comment and tell which SyncMate features they like most and why.

Below you can find some positive comments about SyncMate:

“Bookmarks… it is so very painful to have to retype out my web addresses using my SPV M3100’s “touchscreen” so the ability to sync bookmarks would save me a lot of time. I’m sure there’s an app to do it but I don’t want 10 different applications when SyncMate does it all in one!”

- Sam G

The feature I like the most is folder synchronization. …Managing files on the phone is the only really important feature the iPhone lacks. However, everybody knows how complicated Windows Mobile can turn to be. …I always dreamt of the day when my Mac stopped harasing my WM phone and they became friends. Such day has come…  ;)”

- Mike

“…I’m very interested in some of smaller features in Syncmate Expert, notably: bookmarks, folder and notes synchronization, SMS manager and reader, Device info, actions log and Call History. Those small features would enable me to track my usage better, remove unnecessary steps that I currently repeat on a daily basis, and allow me to access data that I would otherwise have no way of touching without a PC. …Nice work!”

- James Lee

“…That being said, SyncMate provides the bridge fo the gap between the two turfs. It’s been quite a while since I was able to find a program that would do this, and to add to it ToDo list & iCal capabilities means that I no longer need to use my PC desktop just to be able to sync all this information via MobileMe. Now I can be completely Mac, and I LOVE IT.”

- Zachary Price

“… its good to know that even though we don’t have an iphone, some developers still care about us W-Mobile/Mac users, cause its really frustrating having this No-Sync-problem. “managing SMS right from Mac computer. Sending, receiving, creating and deleting SMS when working at Mac became possible with SyncMate Expert Edition” … that’s just plain and simply awesome! “

Thanks everyone for your feedback!
