USB to Ethernet Connector 4 is About to Release – and This Will Be a Great Release!

We’ve been working on improving USB to Ethernet Connector 3.x for two years and now it is on the edge of becoming USB to Ethernet Connector 4.0!

We’ve added numerous new options and possibilities, but the main and foremost novelty is that USB to Ethernet Connector 4 will be compatible with Linux (it is totally new version)! Different combinations of server-client model can be applied, for example, you can share USB device on Linux and connect to it from Windows computer, and vice versa.

USB to Ethernet Connector 4.0 is currently at beta stage and all of you can test its Windows and Linux versions for absolutely free. You can request beta version for PC or for Linux here (click the link in the yellow block).

So, here are the new options USB to Ethernet Connector 4.0 for Windows offers:

We’ve added support for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 Beta. New version will support external USB sound cards and offer you two types of connection with remote devices – “Connect” and “Connect once” (allows establishing one-time connection).

You will also be able to label USB devices thus simplifying their identification if you have several devices of the same type shared. Disabling connection with a client will be possible from the server side.

USB to Ethernet Connector will also show computer name of the client which currently occupies a shared USB device to other clients.

This is by far not the full list of all innovations, so you are welcome to discover all of them in beta version!

Rohan Barar is a developer in SpilGames. He is assigned to write three highly thought out original games with fantastic graphics every month. The problem is that sometimes he struggles to complete this task and most days he stays up to 4-5am.
His son also takes interest in ActionScript and Flash. He hopes to grow up to be a developer.

Alex Taylor: What challenges made you search for the software of this kind?

Rohan Barar: My challenging job, I have to write 3 flash games a month! I was looking for a decompiler to decompile existing games and transform them into new ones. This would help me to spend less time working and more time with my family

Alex Taylor: How did you get to know about Flash Decompiler by Eltima Software?

Rohan Barar:I mailed my workmates and told them about my problem, they responded to me with about 10 links. One of them was Eltima’s. I visited Eltima and found out all about it. I have come to learn that Flash Decompiling Tools can be very useful! I also visited Google and typed in “Flash Decompiler” one of the first links it popped up with lead to Eltima’s website.

Alex Taylor: Did you try other products for the same task before choosing Eltima solution? Why did you prefer our product?

Rohan Barar: I did try other products before using Flash Decompiler Trillix and chose Trillix because of the variety of things you could use it for. All the other programs were extremely limited. Sothink, for example only let me look at the file in the demo period, I couldn’t edit, color or change anything in the trial period. Even in the activated version editing files and viewing ActionScript wasn’t included. Magic Flash Decompiler had problems installing and crashed every 30 seconds. Same story with Flash Decompiler Gold, it couldn’t even open SWF files.

This is why I chose Flash Decompiler Trillix, because of its ability to edit Pictures, Sounds, Texts, Links, Colors and lines. Because of its ability to extract embedded media files in a variety of file formats from SWF and EXE files. Because of its ability to convert SWF files directly into FIFx files. Because of its ability to look into the core of any Flash file like I’ve never seen before. Flash Decompiler Trillix is just awesome.

Alex Taylor: Please, describe how you are using our product now.

Rohan Barar: Currently I am not using this product since I can’t save any changes to SWF files in demo version, but look forward to using it once I receive the activated (full) version. I’ve tested demo version and I was impressed – it combines all options I’ve been looking for.
My son also looks forward to receiving the activated version although he is rather impatient. Flash Decompiler Trillix will help him understand Flash and its composure.

Alex Taylor: How did you benefit from using Eltima solution?

Rohan Barar: I currently do not have Flash Decompiler Trillix with me now, but I’m sure, I will benefit from your solution a lot. Once I have Flash Decompiler Trillix I will be able to Decompile, Edit and then export SWF files. Trillix Flash Decompiler makes this process extremely easy. I look forward to receiving it. I’m sure, your software will save my time which I will be able to spend with my family!

Flash Decomplier Trillix 4.2 for Mac: More Improvements!

This post is devoted to yet another regular update of Flash Decompiler Trillix for Mac. We’ve just released new version and hope you will like all improvements and new options added.

The main improvement added to this release is viewing ActionScript 3.0 code not only as ActionScript, but also in P-code.

We’ve also added fixing mechanism for some SWF files that do not satisfy Adobe SWF File Format Specification. Once you open such file, Flash Decompiler will warn you with a message and try to fix this file for further correct decompilation.

Flash Decompiler Trillix 4.2 for Mac supports conversion of scripts with generics (vector) in Adobe Flash CS4 (v10).

Among other new features are: Flex locales support, Spanish localization, and numerous improvements in decompilation and conversion process of ActionScript 3.0 (into Flex as well as into FLA).

Michael Ball: Windows Mobile doesn’t really like actual computers – especially Macs. And I needed a solution to sync my phone’s information. I was looking for an easy to you and cheap solution to sync contacts events and files with a Verizon XV6800.

SyncMate review is divided into 4 parts – editors highlight features, sync method, ease of use and help & support. Let’s have a look at each item.

For those, who are not familiar with Virtual Serial Port Driver – this utility creates virtual serial ports and connects them in pairs via virtual null-modem cable.
